I first attended UK Clock Club Meeting at Leicester back in April 2012 as a Visiting PhD student from Spain. I would have never imagined that I would one day (12yr later) be co-organizing it! It has been such a blast. Thank you all! ⏰@drrbhug@BioClocksUK@Time_MCR@OfficialUoM
@BeaBanoTime and I have received some amazing feedback from attendees of Autumn Clock Club Manchester. Glad our hard work paid off! Thanks to all the presenters, especially our keynote speaker @ASILOUdon, and to all those who attended @BioClocksUK@OfficialUoM@Time_MCR

How to measure light for laboratory mammals? How to replicate experimental conditions? What light for husbandry? Delighted to announce the publication of our consensus view answering these questions (summarised in Box 3).

The next Methods in Neuroscience Seminar in our monthly series takes place on 22nd February, featuring @BeaBanoTime and @MosneagIoana - details and registration on the attached poster and here > https://t.co/iL2C49lfG2 (@AghilehE@A_Pantiru@MattBDuncan)
@BfdCafe is back on 18 January and this month, we are being joined by Beatriz Bano Otalora with her talk: The Daily Clock of Life.
Dr Bano-Otalora will discuss the importance of circadian rhythms for health and wellbeing, how modern society lifestyles could make them to go wrong, and what can we do to fix them.
Finally after many years of work it's out... my magnum opus! We found that the #CircadianClock in articular cartilage and intervertebral discs is synchronised by exercise through combination of mechano and osmo sensitivity of chondrocytes.

Spectrawear (our open-source wearable a-opic light dosimeter) has been in action to reveal associations between personal light exposure and subjective daytime sleepiness + the timing of night-time sleep in everyday life https://t.co/4sQdyh65VX
And the winner is..@ecomandanga!!!
How should you measure light to predict its appearance to non-human mammals and what constitutes healthy lighting for animal husbandry? Here’s what we agreed when we met in Manchester earlier this year to discuss https://t.co/DjUButbeH5
Happy to share our latest paper in @JPhysiol
