The Governor of Montana has signed a bill into law, banning Gender Affirming Care for children despite being lobbied against doing so by his Non-Binary son.

Gov. Gianforte [R] said that the new bill “protects Montana children from permanent, life-altering medical procedures until they are adults, mature enough to make such serious decisions.”

Under the new law, healthcare professionals who continue to provide hormones or gender reassignment to children could have there medical licenses revoked or face lawsuits.

The Governors son who uses he/they pronouns tried to pressure his father to veto the bill, but the Governor signed it anyway.
