The Force Behind The Africa Feature Network Ghana Chapter
Leadership in media is not only defined by titles, but by impact, consistency, and the ability to build systems that outlive individuals.
Vincent Amenuveve, Country Director of The Africa Feature Network (AFN), Ghana Chapter, brings over two decades of experience in multimedia journalism across both public and private media institutions. His career reflects a deep commitment to storytelling that drives social change and strengthens community development.
With strong expertise in feature writing, news reporting, and multimedia storytelling, Vincent has consistently focused on narratives that highlight solutions within society. His work is grounded in research, clarity, and purpose, ensuring that stories do not just inform, but also inspire action.
Over a span of twenty-five years, he served in two major state-owned media organisations in Ghana, the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation and the Graphic Communications Group Limited. In both institutions, he contributed to shaping content and strengthening editorial structures that continue to influence audiences today.
Vincent has demonstrated a rare ability to initiate ideas and see them through to completion. As the pioneering News Editor of AGTV, he played a central role in establishing the television newsroom structure, making it fully operational and effective from November 6, 2024 to the present.
His impact is also evident in earlier milestones. At the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, he contributed to the launch of the “Ghana Today” programme on Radio Ghana, a programme that remains on air more than two decades later. At the Graphic Communications Group Limited, the rebranded “Weekend Special” edition of the Daily Graphic continues to attract strong readership.
Vincent holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Social Work from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Diploma in Journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
Away from his professional life, he enjoys driving, reading, listening to music, and writing.
Mr. Amenuveve’s journey reflects what The Africa Feature Network stands for, building structures, telling meaningful stories, and shaping narratives that matter across the continent.
