This shit has been bothering me so I have to talk about it.
My whole goal with content is to make things that everyone can really enjoy. To show I care about other cultures, audiences, niches, etc., and do it in a unique way.
To see somebody get mad because I’m trying to do something new, instead of “Making videos for black people” (which is just me getting blackout drunk over and over), it’s just insane to me.
This isn’t the only person either, I get this comment almost any time I do something different. I hate the idea of only being known for one thing or making things for only one audience.
I love being half black, I grew up in the same culture (although I’m a shade from white I get it I feel you), so it’s never going to go away, but black audiences are more than horror games and anime reactions, and I’ll continue to make the shit I wanna make.
Sorry for the long post, it’s not that deep. It’s just a soft point for me.
@YourBudTevin The same thing happened when you steered away from persona content. It’s gonna take some time, people are weird and there are already a ton of people that like you for you, regardless of the content.
