@robertandrewp @MoveForwardMB Forgot to say that I've seen numerous people on racing bikes, alone or worse, in a group, going faster than 20mph. Any reckless driving should be fined.

#MiamiBeach confusion this am at #BeachwalkMB. Police stopped me for riding e-bike at 53rd St. They were courteous, got a verbal warning. But while going south, faced real safety issues like the vendor's truck blocking the path. Why only enforce e-bike ban?

@robertandrewp @MoveForwardMB Interesting. I've seen real scooters on #BeachwalkMB but never e-bikes going faster than 30mph. By the way, I cover 10-15 miles on the path daily, exercising or commuting. Do you have any pics?

I guess regular scooters are allowed on the #BeachwalkMB, since there is a ban on e-vehicles 😥 Awkward encounter yesterday pm at 42nd St. What to do in those situations? Perhaps the rental company could be fined for not briefing their customers on what's allowed in #MiamiBeach.

#BeachwalkMB alert: Police enforcing again meaningless e-ban this AM at 53rd St. However, more pressing safety concerns remain unaddressed, such as low-hanging tree branches (less than 5 feet), hazardous construction, large puddles, etc...

@dgc223 @BikeWalkMB Officially is. Unofficially there is a lot of traffic; sometimes, it seems that 1/3 of the bikes on #BeachwalkMB are e-powered. Also, e-bikes are offered by City bike and by many hotels.
