🚨 Huge victory for beagles!
After years of undercover investigations and public pressure, Ridglan Farms—the second largest dog supplier for U.S. labs—is closing its doors. Thousands of beagles who were born only to be experimented on now have a chance at real freedom and a life as beloved family members.
Inspections exposed overcrowded cages, invasive surgeries, and stressed, suffering dogs, but constant community activism and media attention forced change. Ridglan is required to stop breeding dogs by next summer, and rescue groups are already stepping in to save and rehome as many beagles as possible.
This comes after the shutdown of Envigo, another notorious beagle breeder, showing that when people stay informed, speak up, and refuse to look away, lives are truly saved. No animal should suffer for fashion, and Romania just took a huge step to make sure of that.

Romania has officially passed a ban on fur farming, ending the breeding of mink and chinchillas for their fur. For years, these animals lived in tiny wire cages with no space, no comfort and no chance at a real life.

After investigations, public pressure and countless people speaking up, the government finally listened. By January 2027, all remaining fur farms will be shut down and no new ones will be allowed to open. This decision will save countless animals from a lifetime of fear and misery.

Animal-welfare groups across Europe are calling this a major victory. Romania now joins more than 20 countries that refuse to support cruelty in the name of fashion.

This moment proves something important. When people stand up for animals, change is possible. And today, Romania chose compassion.
