Mary and I have spent the last two days in Kentucky at the Covenant ’24 Conference, organized by Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary where Sam Waldron serves as president. The conference (attended by 600, of whom many were pastors) was held at the beautiful La Grange Baptist Church (photo 1). Its major theme was eschatology. Voddie Baucham, Sam Waldron, and I each gave three addresses, and John Miller gave one address. I was privileged to speak on “How to Interpret the Book of Revelation,” “Practical Lessons from Optimistic Eschatology,” and “Utopian Marriage with Christ Forever.”

Other highlights of the conference included: fellowshipping with a group of Spanish brothers who are very involved in the Covenant seminary, in Spanish publications, etc. (photo 2); engaging in a panel discussion on eschatology with the other speakers (photo 3); doing two podcasts for the seminary on eschatology and the Puritans with three young men (photo 4); meeting a precious 4-year-old whom I couldn’t resist giving a set of our books to (photo 5); enjoying helping out in the book room filled with several hundreds of Reformation Heritage Books, of which the vast majority sold (photo 6); and visiting with Dr. Tom Nettles after not having seen him for many years (photo 7).
