@Guffers@RugbyTimes It’s one of those weird TV-isms where they fixate on a player and start a not very subtle whispering campaign to get them selected. BJVR is a good player but not better than the options we already have at our disposal
@QuadeCooper Yeah, nah.
I like the balance of forwards and backs play and don’t feel the need to unbalance it further.
We want competition at all set piece (bring back reffing the scrum out in pls) and a feeling that possession is earned through hard work and positive action.
@AlexMLowe@willgkelleher Forget SA…any 2nd team captain at any level of the game would’ve continued to pressure the ref and leveraging their own advantage. It’s very very poor captaincy.
@willgkelleher@William_Collier@TimesSport I think (and I can’t believe I’m saying this) I’d prefer a 2min break at 20mins drinks break per half to allow for TV adverts than this kind of slipstreaming into the game flow.
@NLopezdeArenosa@bestofsaulgood I watched BCS first and it encouraged me to watch BB. There are some spoilers but, overall, I’m not sure it makes a massive difference. I do think the characters are more engaging in BCS than BB though…brilliant writing.
@Ringbrian88@TightFive_Rugby Was Willis as advanced as Pollock at the same age at Wasps? He was brilliant at the jackal but not as quick nor as rounded an attacker.
I am interested to know who folks would drop from Earl, Curry and Underhill before we even get to Pepper, Hill, CCS & Pollock.
@NolanAnalyst That moment where our perception changes as we no longer see the ship spinning, but rather the planet…brilliant work backed by euphoric and dramatic music. Definite chills.
@NolanAnalyst Put a SpongeBob trailer behind that Zimmer soundtrack and you’d get a queue at the cinema door. Interstellar is an ultimate conjunction of music, cinematography, narrative and acting.
@SaintsRugby Not enough people talking about Hendy’s composure at the start of that move, his pace and in executing the 2 on 1. He looks so assured but is in a very contested area for England.
@willcarling He’s under pressure to produce the perfect game every game, leaving his detractors to point to the odd inevitable error as proof of his flaws 🙄. However, he does look out of sorts this season, and I wonder how much of that is the loss of DC both in games and during the week.
