Our choir visited a local care to sing to the residents. Unfortunately, one man was bedbound so the children asked if they could sing to him too. He was so happy and said it was "his best day!" A real reminder of the true spirit of christmas...❤

Amazing Christmas production @BeamCountyPS The children showed how Christmas is celebrated around the world. A true celebration of diversity. Go Beam 🎉🎉
Rehearsals are well under way for this years winter production. We will be remembering 100 years since the start of World War 1 with songs through the decades. #WeRemember
Year 2 were visited today by Dagenham @LondonFire.
They have been learning about The Great Fire of London and the fire fighters told us about what they would need to do now if a big fire was to break out again.
The children got to sit in the engine and even play the siren!
Yesterday, our footballers played at the 6-a-side borough tournament at the West Ham Foundation.
We won 5/6 games, only conceding 2 goals and will be progressing to the regional finals in February.
Amazing effort from all of the boys. Well done ⚽️ #BeamWarriors
Last night at STEM club, we were finding out what is inside different electrical items. We tore down different devices and this is what we found... @thepange24
Thank you to all the parents who joined in with Year 2's Family Friday. The children had a great time sharing their books with their parents, aunties and baby siblings. Reading with your child is one of the best ways to improve their fluency and understanding. Keep it up!!
Our Year 5 classes and Mrs Masons group went to the war memorial service today at Dagenham Parish Church. It was lovely to see so many people come together with their schools, colleges and also, the veterans remembering our fallen soldiers.
They especially enjoyed fighting fires with different methods, including buckets of water. Wonder how long that would have taken to tackle the blaze nearly 400 years ago?
Today, our Year 2 students had a workshop around The Great Fire of London. They had a great time meeting Samuel Pepys and trying on the plague doctors mask.
