🚒 Investing in #FireServices isn't just about fires! Adding 16 firefighters allows us to respond w/ smaller trucks & teams, keeping larger resources available. In 2023, we handled over 4,000 medical #emergencies. It's our duty to show up. #YourMapleRidge#MapleRidge @DanRuimyMP
Construction of the new playground at Maple Ridge Park is underway with the arrival of the 30 ft tree house and other key structures! Exciting things to come include an accessible spinner, seesaw, slide, and “Salmon River” of rubber surfacing.

Once these channels are set up, we will share the information to ensure that donations reach those who have been impacted. A reminder that cash donations are preferred, as it allows the greatest flexibility to support those who have been displaced. Thank you for your patience.
Please do not bring donations to the Reception Centre as the Emergency Support Services personnel do not have the capacity to receive donations at this time. Please be patient as needs are assessed and the Canadian Red Cross and Salvation Army set up their donation program.
