@jermainjackkk @devvtang I don't claim to fully understand it still, but to me there is still at least a partial choice being made when Leland lets Bob in, I felt that especially in the scene of Maddie's death. But during Laura's death, we also see her pointedly REFUSE to allow Bob to enter her.

I think it really helps to show that while Bob is an entity of it's own, Leland is not 100% faultless. Also, in the movie, he says to Laura "I thought you always knew it was me"
