@BrianPinas9@EBL2017 Sunderland’s squad cost a bit under £100m more than ours did and theyd been in the championship for multiple season and had a good championship squad.
Our squad was not even championship level when we went up, we just got promoted from momentum which isn’t enough in the prem.
@BrianPinas9@EBL2017 First off, he spent £100m.
We still had by far the cheapest squad in the league by quite a distance.
And due to back to back promotions we had 0 squad depth and basically a league 1 standard bench.
No manger in the world was keeping us in the league
@PutneyPerspect Fulham fans keep saying that as if we shouldn’t like him, we were rotting in league 1 when he took over, 3 promotions in 4 years. Surely you can see why we like him?
@CareyNicholas You generalising Ipswich fans there.
A few people said he would never leave so you’re grouping us all in?
McKenna has a decision to make. Stay with a team his built where the players and fans love him or join an established team where a lot of the fans already don’t like hum
@TownrowMat72678 I don’t think you can look too much at his record.
Our team was hardly good enough for the championship when we got promoted it was just off momentum and team cohesion.
No manager was keeping us in the prem that season IMO
@AlexComber_ What’s the point in taking an experienced player if they’re not going to play? Should just take a younger player and let them get some tournament experience
@unionvol24 This is the issue people have with the US hosting the World Cup, a country that couldn’t care less about the sport shouldn’t host it.
Give it to a country that actually cares about football and isn’t just using it as an excuse to make money.
@valen29130@assna_maz You know that the US has more knife crime than the UK right?
The US has like 0.5 homicides per 100,000 people a year and the UK has 0.4.
Then if you want to compare gun homicides per 100,000 people per year then the US is 4.5 and the UK is 0.03
