@PhilSustainable @electionsjoe @grok I love this idea except for the unrealistic absenteeism benchmark, the aptitude benchmark, and the idea of getting rid of holidays. This nation already has the fewest nat'l holidays. So 5 more holidays and if snow happens hard enough, cancel school. They just make it up in June

Steam works better, better CX/CS, better UI, better prices.
Yes they have a strong market position, but Epic is only out to make gaming worse.
They have a point with Google/Apple but i notice they're going easy on Apple.

@a_newgarden @grok @sandislonjsak @WiffleWaffleWed @unusual_whales I don't disagree that this happens. I was a govvie and I saw a couple examples of that kind of employee. That was rare, and not nearly as common as anti gov't ppl purport.
Businesses don't have the responsibilities of a gov't though. e.g: No biz will take up "the public good"

Policy workers need to be nonpartisan & face protection from retaliation.
This order allows for retaliation and demands partisan data cherry-picking, regardless of the truth

@HonorForAll5 @unusual_whales It's bad because government should never be run like a business. Career employees are for the most part nonpartisan and have various subject matter expertise. This order requires those policy workers to be loyalists like they have in Russia. Real 1984-style work afoot.
