Last weekend, Bear injured his leg, we believe, while exercising. After undergoing X-rays and CT scans, it was revealed that he has severely torn the ligaments in his lower leg. Consequently, Bear underwent carpal arthrodesis surgery yesterday to add two metal plates and

a bone graft, fusing his lower leg.
He's back home with us, but the journey to full recovery is going to be a long one. Making the decision for surgical intervention was difficult, but given that Bear is 9 years old, we believe it's the best option for him.
