After playing three games with the Warriors in the California Classic, Ryan Hawkins will make his Summer League debut today during Raptors-76ers at 2:30 p.m. CST on NBA TV.

Trevor Hudgins and the Rockets will play No. 2 pick Chet Holmgren and the Thunder at 7 p.m. CST on ESPN2.

Ryan Hawkins will also play for the Golden State Warriors in the California Classic, a showcase featuring 2022 draft picks, second-year pros and more, per @BluejayMBB. The event runs July 2-5 and will feature the Warriors, Heat, Kings and Lakers.

He landed in H-Town on Friday, worked out with first-round picks Jabari Smith and Tari Eason on Saturday, and now he's preparing for the NBA Summer League:

Former NW Missouri State and Creighton forward Ryan Hawkins has agreed to play in the Summer League with the Toronto Raptors, per @BluejayMBB.

He won three Division II titles before averaging 13.8 points and 7.8 rebounds for the Bluejays in his final collegiate season.

Undrafted Northwest Missouri State guard Trevor Hudgins has signed a two-way contract with the Houston Rockets.

Hudgins, the reigning back-to-back Division II POTY, is headed to H-Town.

Former NW Missouri State DL Sam Roberts is the first Patriots rookie to sign his contract.

The sixth-round pick got a four-year, $3.83 million deal with a $171,476 signing bonus. His 2022 salary of $705,000 is official when and if he makes the 53-man roster.

Former Northwest Missouri State WR Kaden Davis will wear No. 13 with the Broncos.

He wore that number at Ellsworth High School. He wore that number at Northwest, too. Now, he’ll wear it in Denver.

Former Northwest Missouri State OL Tanner Owen has informed me he’s signing with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent.

He started every single one of his 52 games as a Bearcat.

Northwest Missouri State WR Kaden Davis is signing with the Denver Broncos as a priority free agent, per source.

Davis had options, the source said, but after receiving a phone call from first-year coach Nathaniel Hackett, he felt the Mile High City was his home.

NEWS: NCAA President Mark Emmert will step down next summer, the NCAA announced Tuesday afternoon.

Emmert will get to see the finish line of his 13-year tenure on June 30, 2023 — unless the NCAA selects a new president before then.

A week out from the draft, some organizations are viewing him as a priority free agent, with others even considering him as a late-round pick.

Former Northwest football LB Jackson Barnes, WR Kaden Davis and DB Keilon Hunter were named to the 2022 NFF Hampshire Honor Society.

All three fit some of graduating, maintaining at least a 3.2 GPA and being "starters or significant contributors" last season.

At the age of 41, he's won four national titles in the last five seasons, an unprecedented five NABC Division II Coach of the Year awards and has a career record of 334-83.

Former Northwest OL Tanner Owen has been invited to the Kansas City Chiefs' local prospect day, per @AaronWilson_NFL.

Owen ran a 5.0 40-yard dash at 6-foot-4, 307 pounds. He also did 27 reps on bench press and had a 34" vertical.

Despite the annual whirlwind of speculation, Northwest men's basketball coach Ben McCollum is planning to stay in Maryville for a 14th season.
