@HistoryBoomer These aren't regular Israeli citizens. The young women are on temporary leave from the army, probably for a day, and they are carrying their army issued military weapons. The argument for or against open carry of civilian weapons in the USA doesn't apply in this case.

@thehowie There is context. Antisemitism is one of the very few tolerated widely spread prejudices left of center. If the poor kid was black or Muslim, it would be the front page of every large media outlets and law enforcement would be investigating
