Beardy bloke, Francophile, borderline eccentric. Living in Normandy, lots of cats, I'll have a glass of red, please.....or a Ricard. A Ricard would be great!
@RussInCheshire The bottom line, though, is that having already announced that she's not standing for re-election, she's unlikely to have any influence in Labour policy in the short time before the GE, and this has simply further reduced Sunak's majority. Surely that's a result?
@mralistairgreen@mrhenrymorris That's not a donation, that's full & final payment for a peerage, so if they return it, he won't get ennobled!! ๐
@mesnilman @NormandieCJ@JoSoulby Thanks for asking! We're good here - we're up at 300 metres, quite high and so well drained, and no rivers nearby! Reckon the Grand Cascade at Mortain is going to be running rather quickly just now!
@strategywoman I do read and appreciate your Tweets when I pop back to X for a catch-up, but like so many others, I've gone over to where the sky is always blue and don't use X as much - far too toxic now! Your tweets are on Notify so I don't miss them!
@10DowningStreet There's a hole in the road; the Prime Minister is looking into it!! (just in case no-one has used that one yet!!) Road repairs are County Council responsibility, and since the Tory Government cut local authority funding a few years back, it's an inevitable consequence!!
