🧵One of the greatest wastes of money are the “clean energy” grants that have been funded by the US DOE. Instead of using https://t.co/GABuL1R67B, the federal grant clearinghouse, they have at least 3 grant exchange webpages that require you to submit through a 4th federal portal
By me in @JNS_org: 🧵
The Democrats who are running to be the next governor of California gave “shocking” answers when asked if Israel is guilty of committing “genocide” in Gaza, according to former Fox News host @SteveHiltonx, a Republican candidate in the race.
I am going to explain this as simply as I can for those that still don't understand.
You do not get the results you got in Indiana, Louisiana, and Kentucky with a sitting President in the low 30s approval rating.
Therefore, the polls are fake.
The reality shows Trump's approval is very high. What the final number is no one knows because the polls are so fake anymore, but it's certainly not in the 30s. The results tell you that in flashing neon letters.
Everyone in power that believed the polls should immediately do a gut check and change course because the media siren polls are driving you all into the rocks.
@joekent16jan19 “Voters only do what ads tell them to do” is exactly the type of arrogance and voter disdain that is causing incumbents to fall right and left.
I liked Massie but the only person responsible for his loss tonight was … Thomas Massie.
Hickenlooper has the audacity to call Tina Peters “guilty as sin” and say she doesn’t deserve a single dollar of taxpayer money.
This is the same man who, as Denver Mayor, had an illegal immigrant working in his own restaurant — the Cherry Cricket.
That illegal, Eduardo Gómez-García, used fake documents and later murdered off-duty Detective Donald Young in cold blood in 2005, shooting him three times (including in the head) and wounding another detective.
He was convicted and sentenced to 80 years in prison (second-degree murder and related charges).
As of recent reports (2025), he has applied for a program that could lead to earlier release, which has drawn outrage from the victim’s family and law enforcement.
You gave a criminal a paycheck while pushing sanctuary policies that protect lawbreakers and endanger citizens.
You relentlessly persecuted an elderly cancer survivor for preserving election records, but show endless mercy to violent offenders.
In my day we protected law-abiding citizens and locked up the dangerous. You do the exact opposite and then lecture us about justice.
You’re not fighting for taxpayers, Hick.
You’re protecting your failed ideology and your own blood-stained record.
Hypocrite.
@TeeplesCY i’m a recent convert. since then i’ve consistently beat back my depression. i’ve acheived so much in such a short amount of time. i am unrecognizable from what i was just 5 years ago.
@TeeplesCY@TFloodeen Wow, that’s enough to make a person want to join the church just to see if they could find those same blessings. Those crazy happy Christians! 😜
@TeeplesCY@realHoid Man, for not being “Christian” and being “deceived by Satan” us pesky Mormons sure do benefit a lot from doing what Jesus told us to do
@TeeplesCY I guess the Church isn't so toxic after all..... hmmmmm.... who knew?
Literally all of us that have chosen to embrace the Gospel and through multiple iterations, seek to become like the Savior. This is where TRUE joy and happiness comes from. Not from things or substances.
@EricCMeadows The missionary tactics of other Christians has definitely helped me decide to stay put. I was not converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through coercion or fear. I was converted because I learned how much Jesus Christ loves me and our covenant relationship.
I’m not sure it’s even driven by a desire to persuade—I think it has more to do with a general insecurity. It’s as if they feel like admitting we’re Christians will remove their best argument against us. It’s so bizarre that the litmus test they use for LDS people is whether or not we’re “creedal.” Can they hear themselves? Where in scripture does it say that in order to be considered Christian you have to believe in a human creed? How many creedal Christians believe the same things about these creeds? How about we get all the creedal Christians in a room and see if they can come up with a unified explanation of the nature of God and Jesus Christ.
My favorite expression of my belief in Christ is this:
I believe in Christ, he is my King.
With all my heart, to him I’ll sing;
I’ll raise my voice in praise and joy,
In grand amens, my tongue employ.
I believe in Christ, he is God’s Son.
On earth to dwell, his soul did come.
He healed the sick; the dead he raised.
Good works were his; his name be praised.
I believe in Christ; oh blessed name!
As Mary’s Son he came to reign
’Mid mortal men, his earthly kin,
To save them from the woes of sin.
I believe in Christ, who marked the path,
Who did gain all his Father hath,
Who said to men: “Come, follow me,
That ye, my friends, with God may be.”
I believe in Christ—my Lord, my God!
My feet he plants on gospel sod.
I’ll worship him with all my might;
He is the source of truth and light.
I believe in Christ; he ransoms me.
From Satan’s grasp he sets me free,
And I shall live with joy and love
In his eternal courts above.
I believe in Christ; he stands supreme!
From him I’ll gain my fondest dream;
And while I strive through grief and pain,
His voice is heard: “Ye shall obtain.”
I believe in Christ; so come what may,
With him I’ll stand in that great day
When on this earth he comes again
To rule among the sons of men.
It’s not boasting to share the blessings we received. Read what Christ actually said. We live the gospel and we are truly blessed because of it.
Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Do you honestly believe that means we should hide our beliefs? If you do, you are completely misunderstanding scripture. We don’t do works to be seen of man. Our good fruits are genuine, not just an illusion to gain clout, but they are visible.
We live the gospel proudly. We are following the commandment of Jesus:
Matthew 5: 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
I would have said this had someone not told us we’re going to hell. We hear that every day.
Jesus specifically told us to “Let your light so shine, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven.” That is why he told us to judge prophets based on the fruit they produce. We cannot hide it under a bushel. Sorry, to disappoint.
Imagine looking at the group of people in the world with the healthiest bodies, the most stable families, the lowest rates of divorce, the most children, who read and know the scriptures the most, who give most to charity, who volunteer the most and tell us we’re somehow terminally ill.
Get a new persuasion tactic, because this ain’t working. We’re going to continue having faith in Christ and producing the absolute best fruit.
