Caleb Williams is not that guy and will never be that guy. He will play out next year and then they'll use Bagent as a place holder and eventually draft his replacement.
@neiltyson Just saw a man walking around at my community park with a T-shirt that said, "Back in my day we had nine planets!".
And I thought Donald Trump was divisive...
Most alarming Halas Hall comment of today came from WR Rome Odunze when asked when his injured foot from last season felt normal again.
"This is my new normal. And it’s not from a standpoint that I’m always in pain but the way my foot broke there’s callouses in there that create a different type of foot structure with those bones — different types of things that kind of shift things around. So my new normal is kind of what I am going into."
Just something to file away.
Browns DE Jared Verse with a bold statement on his first impressions of his new team:
"You can tell how a team is by how they practice. You see losing teams practice terribly. You see great teams practice amazingly. It translates. That's not a losing team out there. The way everybody was moving, I didn't get to get into the team situations today, that's going to be another day. But the way them boys are moving, this isn't a losing team."
@PHNX_SunDevils I was thinking this was top-10 kick returners. I'm thinking Eric Guliford Terry Battle Lenny Randle Terry Richard DJ Foster. And then I'm like oh wait, I see now.
@PolymarketBlitz@LedyardNFLDraft Greg Gabriel was a college scouting director second in charge behind the GM of the Bears. When I asked him about Terrell Suggs he said Suggs only played linebacker in college and that's why they didn't draft him in Chicago. Suggs only played DE at Arizona State.
@InvisiSquirrel@ShiaKapos@RobertPeters "If ultimately passed, Illinois’ stadium authority plan would mirror what Indiana approved, giving the Bears full control over a stadium that they wouldn’t technically own for decades, allowing them to collect revenue and AVOID PROPERTY TAXES."
@InvisiSquirrel@ShiaKapos@RobertPeters No they're asking for property tax reductions over the lifetime of the stadium. Preferential property tax rates. Property tax revenues that should benefit schools and the community. Property taxes that they haven't had to pay at Soldier Field because they don't own SF.
