look forward to. Most of it is just watching these relationships fall apart, and then have there be a super serious conspiratorial finale, that just doesn’t fit at all. The personal feeling I got from the first season is just nowhere to be found here,

It was just a way for the characters to become acquainted, while in the first season it was the catalyst and main reason the conflict built up to what it eventually became.
This made the first 70% of the season feel meandering, with barely any interesting developments or a plot

Beef season 2 was a pretty massive let down. It tried to have a massive scope, but that just made it fall flat in nearly every way possible . The “beef” played like very little part in the actual conflict of the season.
