OG Black Noir barely spoke, yet every scene felt tense. His silence carried more menace than entire speeches.
Meanwhile Noir 2.0 got folded by The Deep in the most embarrassing way possible.
The downgrade is insane.
Did the show completely ruin Noir’s aura?🤔
Season 2 is better than Season 1 in every way. So why did 50% of viewers disappear?
The Numbers:
1. Season 1 - 8.35M views, 24M hours watched.
2. Season 2 - 4.5M views, 10.8M hours watched.
3. That's a 46% drop in views and 54% drop in watch time
Why Season 1 Had More Viewers:
• First time seeing Daredevil and Kingpin together since Netflix cancelled the show in 2018.
• That 6 year reunion drove massive curiosity and nostalgia.
• People came back just to see if it was worth it
Why Season 2 Dropped:
1. Season 1's mixed reception put casual viewers off many never came back
2. Feels like season 5 of a long running show audiences naturally drop off
3. Only one trailer released before premiere marketing was almost non-existent
4. Too much Netflix homework for new viewers to catch up on
5. General MCU Disney+ fatigue still affecting all shows.
The Irony:
• Season 2 has a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes 3 points higher than Season 1.
• Episode 4 holds the highest IMDB rating of any MCU streaming episode ever
• The best reviewed season of the show has the lowest viewership
🚨 Bastoni, as covered before, has said YES to Barcelona — if he leaves, Barça is the only club he wants to join. What remains is an agreement between the two clubs, with negotiations yet to begin. Operation cost €60m-€65m. @MatteMoretto#Transfers 🇮🇹
