@LegionzGaming Can't really be mad at them, since the design is just Toriyama's preferred artstyle right before he passed.

Again, valid opinion, but I understand why they wanted to not deviate from Toriyama's style, especially since this was one of his last projects

Yeah, this artwork right here shows that the DQ XII Design, including the tired look, can actually look GOOD.

Some of my oomphs don't like the design, but I honestly do. The style of the game just doesn't compliment it.

So, I've been seeing alot of differing opinions for the 40th Anni Stream.

For me, the stream was just disappointing as a whole. Only TWO reveals? Really?

A better answer is that his design is not only the most different from every other protagonist in the series, but also (for some reason) people disliking Toriyama's artstyle before he passed.
