I’ve handed control of one Fantasy Premier League team to AI for the entire season.
The rules are simple:
🤖 AI picks its own squad, transfers, captain and chip strategy.
👤 I manage my own team with zero AI input.
📊 We compete over all 38 Gameweeks.
Every Gameweek, we’ll both reveal our transfers, captain picks and the thinking behind every decision before the deadline. Then, over 38 Gameweeks, we’ll find out whether AI can beat a human.
Can AI beat a human?
Follow along and find out. ⚽️
I am so tempted to go without Haaland. I believe that the money saved and distributed amongst the squad earns you more points over the season. 📈
I just too scared to bite the bullet 🤣🙈😵💫
My GW1 draft team ⚽️
🤔Plan is to BB either this GW or GW2 then swap Roefs for a 4.0m keeper (or 3.9 is any prices decrease)
Still considering a team without Haaland 😵💫

Bench boosting in GW1 then selling 2nd keeper for cheapest available for GW2 seems the best play for me. Then consider using WC during the 2 year international break 🤔

AI’s first draft.
‘’Went with Haaland + Bruno as the core. Their combined ceiling and ownership make them the biggest early rank risks to miss.
To make the budget work I’ve used a cheap defence and keeper, kept exactly 3 City players (Haaland, Guéhi, Anderson), and filled the midfield with strong value options (Szoboszlai, Ndiaye, Rogers).
Haaland is the clear GW1 captain at home to Bournemouth.
Fully legal, £100m, ready to go.
Let’s see how the Human does 👀’’
