To balance out erosion (water, wind, gravity) you need a force to create topography, always being tectonic (volcanism, orogenesis etc).
Therefore including erosion without tectonics means no topography on the long run.

I suggest people should just learn patience, if work is being done, let it get through all the necessary steps to get published correctly before taking the facts as granted. 3/?
