@IwriteOK @why_sophie_why surprised and delighted to discover the ads on the Peter Thiel episode were Trump Shoes and Watches. Very appropriate. You’ve joked about the various incongruous sponsers that have popped up, but this was the first that I have personally came across.

@AaronMeyers @Duszynski116 I need to dig a bit deeper into it as at first glance I am against most taxes on sales. Though a number of industries can handle it, some operate on slim margins with high sales and this type of bill can be punishing. But like I said, I need to look at it a bit more.

@dragon_fortress Agreed. Sometimes parents want a night out and if the kids are happy, who gives an f about what they are eating. And when my kids outgrew the kids menu, it was a sad day because it meant they were growing up, and that eating out was going to be more costly

Much like my other hobbies, I’m having to be particular about what I add to my cookbook collection. I even went through and thinned a bunch out earlier this year. But these looked pretty cool. I really want to try some of these old recipes and see how they hold up.
