Two film writers and Fab Four fans discuss films and TV about, starring and inspired by The Beatles. Podcast in your ears and in your eyes. (Mainly your ears.)
We've got a bonus episode now available on #TheBeatles' Let it Be restoration on @DisneyPlus.
It's a short one because we already discussed the film itself in two parts last year, so here we're talking about its purpose alongside, and the audiovisual distinctions with, Get Back.
Happy new year: season six starts Monday. Mainly going to be posting about it in the other place so please follow us over there if you're over there. But might still do a bit here? I don't know, see how it goes, eh?
Merry Christmas! A bonus episode is in your pod stockings, covering a crucial piece of Beatles film history: the 1998 webcast in which Paul McCartney made mashed potatoes. Because Christmas dinner! Just go with it!

A fair and balanced review of #MidasMan. Positives include some very good acting and good research, but a lack of tension and too much ‘telling not showing’ lets it down. And I absolutely cannot agree that Jonah Lees was a brilliant John Lennon - sorry!
