@MarinaPurkiss With a first past the post system and what appears to me is a conservative leaning country I would argue that it’s complacent to assume a landslide victory for Labour. I’m a Green at heart but in my Tory constituency they don’t stand a chance. Labour is my only option.

Net gain 0% for the British public as you point out the gas will be subject to global market prices. The Labour plan is to create domestic energy from mainly renewables which are far cheaper than oil and gas.
