South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster ordered the mandatory evacuation of Beaufort and counties along the coast of South Carolina starting at 12:00 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, September 11th).
Beaufort County public schools and Beaufort County government offices will be open tomorrow and, as of this time, no decision on evacuation has been made. Please continue to monitor your local news as Hurricane Florence continues to approach the coast.
