⚠️A power outage within the city has disrupted our 911 Emergency lines. The lines are currently being rerouted to other area law enforcement agencies for response. Our non-emergency business line at 951-769-8500 is unaffected at this time. 1/2

If you have an emergency and need to dial 911, be prepared to provide your location so info can be provided to our dispatch center as timely as possible. If you need to reach us, please contact our business line at 951-769-8500. We will update when the lines have been restored.

Thank you for discussing w/me, I'm polling other agencies since we are currently considering moving away from it.

@katienelson210 @MountainViewPD @chMtnViewPD @CaptJ_mvpd @MtnViewPDChief @WMMtnViewPD @MVPDJaeger We currently use Everbridge, which also owns Nixle...its a very robust program that can be cumbersome to use in the event of an emergency or crisis unless you really spend the time to frontloading it w/templates. I have found we have better luck and more response w/ SM
