According to the EPA, styrofoam is the fifth largest hazardous waste, it’s estimated that it takes 500 years to decompose and takes up 25-30% of space in our landfills since it’s so easy for styrofoam to fly away it is drastically affecting our lakes, waterways, and landfills!
