@E_A_BEAUTY I know what you mean. I had the same thing with a new pair. contacted the brand and sent them pictures. They told me it was a fault and replaced them.

@TeaPartyBeauty I think its knowing that it could be just as dangerous that is awful. Taxis should be a safe option. I’ve taken 100s of cabs in my life, all with brilliant & kind drivers. I’ve taken 3 that have caused me fear for my safety. Those 3 mean I’m frightened when I get in any taxi now

@xcharlotteeliz @mariajblogs They instantly heard how worried I was and asked if I was safe. I explained the situation. A cab was with me in two minutes. This was a Saturday night. I felt safe knowing that they made me a priority.

@xcharlotteeliz @mariajblogs I will say that the local cab company I used to use were excellent when it came to taking care of lone women. I used to work late nights (1am-4am) and on one occasion i left work and a big group of drunk men were across the street. I was worried so I called a cab.

@xcharlotteeliz @mariajblogs I share an Uber account with my husband. That way he gets alerts when I’m picked up and dropped off, I then text him to let him know I’ve arrived. If he doesn’t hear from me he will call.

I think one of things that has been hard about the pandemic is that Ive not been able to visit. Usually when I come back I end up traveling to peoples houses.This time I’m demanding a shopping trip to Hanley! And to see the bus station.

@HelloTerriLowe I’ve not seen that! Do you have a picture? I can’t find it online. I moved out of Stoke just as the new bus station was finished. I love the Fire Ice man on the side of the shopping centre. I also really like the Man Can’t Fly sculpture near the train station

@HelloTerriLowe I completely agree-there are so many beautiful areas in Stoke-on-Trent. I actually love the train station; I think it’s a really nice building. I’ve not been to Hanley in a few years, once things get better I’m coming back for a long weekend!

@HelloTerriLowe Stoke-on-Trent is a wonderful city. Yes, it has problems, but doesn’t everywhere? Furthermore, it’s constantly changing. Everytime I come back there is something new to see. Also, the Monkey Forrest ❤️
