Want to hear something crazy? I paid $1000 to my Apple Card to free up some credit. Because I did so just after the first of the month, when a bunch of other payments ware being processed.

They won’t actually reflect the payments and give me the credit until August 11 nine days after I paid it.. the card will a essentially worthless to me. Sadly it offers the best cashback rewards over all my other cards. I’ll pay if off on my next check and then close it.

We had visitation for dad and funeral services this week on Monday and Tuesday. Dad had spent his life in public service preparing Louisiana for hurricanes and training the next generation to continue the task. His last job was running the Emergency Ops Center for LADOTD.
