Sports Data Analyst & Developer⚾️
I’ve been collecting and analyzing sports data as a hobby for years.
Eventually, I decided it was too good to keep to myself — so I launched this website.
Currently focused on NPB, with advanced metrics like FIP/xFIP (just added today!).
Opened July 7, 2026.
I analyze because it’s fun.
I used to bet bigger, but realized emotions get in the way when money is on the line.
Now it’s small stakes and pure enjoyment — especially when my prediction hits
If the data isn’t clear, I skip the game. No forcing picks.
I know there’s always an error margin in human sports, but I’m obsessed with shrinking it.
More sports coming soon.
(Running on a humble Raspberry Pi — goal #1 is to crash the server with traffic )😂
Any feedback — positive or brutal — is highly appreciated.
If it helps you, please share it!

Working like a beaver. Let’s talk baseball data.

⚾️ KT ML 1.72
Allen has pitched well enough to get this done. Yang has a FIP over 5 recently and has struggled vs KT bats. Kia bullpen has been a bit sus as well lately. Go Wiz!!!
My thoughts on the NPB, KBO, and MLB after running BeaverStats
I launched BeaverStats on July 7, 2026, so it’s been just under two months now.
I wanted to share some thoughts from collecting and analyzing the data myself.
⚾ MLB
Pros: There are so many games, so there are plenty of games to analyze and choose from.
Cons: With so many teams, the head-to-head sample sizes are relatively small, and home runs happen pretty often. More importantly, MLB has already been analyzed so extensively that it’s difficult to find an edge in the betting lines.
⚾ KBO
Pros: There’s plenty of head-to-head data, and compared to MLB, the betting lines feel relatively less efficiently priced, which makes it easier to find an edge.
Cons: Pitching can be very inconsistent, and games can get out of hand quickly, making them difficult to predict. It’s not uncommon to see a team go down 4–0 right from the start 😂
⚾ NPB
Pros: There’s plenty of head-to-head data, and compared to MLB, the betting lines feel relatively less efficiently priced, making it easier to find an edge.
Cons: Once a team falls behind, it feels like comebacks are pretty rare.
Personally, I feel like NPB may ultimately be the most favorable league for betting.
That doesn’t mean the games are always one-sided. There are plenty of close games that stay within one run for a long time, which makes them really exciting to watch. Above all, I’ve found Japanese pitchers to be consistently strong and less volatile overall.
Of course, these are just my personal observations after running the site for about two months.
Baseball really is difficult.
There are so many things to consider — head-to-head records, starting pitchers, bullpens, lineups, ballparks, weather, recent form, and so on. And then there are things like the feel of the game, a player’s condition, and reaction speed on that particular day — factors that are almost impossible to capture with data. 😭
For my next sport, I chose basketball 🏀
Curious what a BeaverStats-style basketball analysis screen will look like?
I’m working hard to get basketball ready as the next step.
Stay tuned! 🔥

I’ve been analyzing games with a friend who’s really into sports betting since I started BeaverStats.
The funny thing is, we look at the exact same data… and somehow keep coming up with different picks. 😂
It’s not about who’s right or wrong. I just think that’s what makes sports analysis so interesting.
Same data, different perspective. 😂

⚾️SSG F5 1.72
Love the way SSG new import is pitching rn.
Doosan has been cold as ice at the plate. Landers should be able to generate some runs against a BP arm today.

I’m currently developing basketball analysis for BeaverStats! 🏀
NBA, KBL, and other basketball leagues will soon be available on the site.
I’m working on the analysis screen right now, but I’m wondering if I’m putting too much information on one screen 😂
Would this actually be useful for analyzing games, or is it just too complicated for anyone to look at? 😅
I’d really appreciate any feedback or suggestions!

@Cmoney52 Since the KBO has Mondays off, it feels like the momentum doesn’t carry over as much, so Tuesdays are always the hardest to predict. Hang in there!! 💪
@TheBetDesk Of course, BeaverStats!! 😂 Just kidding. But honestly, I don't think there are many sites that cover the NPB or KBO in this much detail for free, right? haha
New feature added!
Compare hitters’ recent form at a glance and get a better look at who’s been hot lately. 🔥
