I'm not telling you that. I'm telling you that birds, like many animals, are more intelligent than we often assume. They're able to express wishes and desires. Like us, they can choose to engage in experiences beyond their natural environment. A dog that happily jumps into a car for a ride at unnatural speeds with its head hanging out the window is no different than Bebe choosing to get in his submarine to see a new world. Frankly, from the physics of the speeds, the unrestrained dog in a car going freeway speeds is at higher risk of injury then Bebe is 3 ft underwater in the submarine. An unexpected flooding of the submarine would likely not cause Bebe serious injury since he could be quickly evacuated. Parrots are known to sometimes swim underwater and are certainly able to hold their breath. But a sudden Collision of a highway speed car would result in the fatal evacuation of the dog from the vehicle through the windshield at 60 mph. And yet the dog does not sign a waiver, either.
Hey guys! That ABC interview was a blast. Bebe and I will keep putting part of the dev fees into the coin and taking part to put toward bird charities. Bebe says, "Hi"!
@ZackBB@MarioNawfal Says the guy who wants to put cats on Mars?! π€£ Please don't demean these intelligent animals by suggesting that they can't be adventurous and enjoy doing this kind of thing with their bonded human.
