Can we please not fucking frame this tragic, horrifying narrative to drag Conan, or fucking Bill Hader (as of today), or anyone else into it? It’s a terrible thing that happened that’s rocked a family, and it’s nobody else’s fault and it’s CERTAINLY none of our fucking business.
Dear Senators:
Ask Pam Bondi about her $25,000 donation from Trump in 2013 — right when her office decided NOT to prosecute Trump University.
If she doesn’t give a good enough answer, ask more questions.

Its cool that the party who won't shut up about how America is run by shadow billionaire elites voted for the billionaire elite stacking the government with his billionaire elite buddies
@nhannahjones I just followed you on Bluesky. I truly hope you post there - your voice is invaluable. Thank you for all you do.
There are a few more people I hope to see over there before I deactivate here, but I'm winding down.
@Toure Unfollow. Life's too chaotic to let in unwanted noise. I unfriended a high school classmate on FB (yes, I'm still there) and he messaged me that his feelings are hurt and I'm being immature. Dude, we haven't spoken IRL in 30 years, you're taking social media far too seriously.
@franklinleonard Nate Dogg has a proven record of being able to stay on task then immediately switch his mind back into freak mode. Clearly the superior candidate.
Demanding Senate Republicans back Gaetz as attorney general and Hegseth as Defense Secretary is the 2024 version of forcing Sean Spicer to say it was the largest inauguration crowd ever.
These aren't just appointments. They're loyalty tests. The absurdity is the point.
I hope comms directors understand that making digital/creators part of your strategy doesn't just reach more people than mainstream media... doesn't just reach more PERSUADABLE people than mainstream media... but laying hands on those creators and validating them will give them the opportunity to be more effective at doing the work of messaging & persuasion throughout the rest of the year. It's about bolstering progressive media... WHICH WILL ULTIMATELY HELP YOU!
When was the last time anyone got "news" from a progressive creator, versus getting it from Politico (which Dems complain about) or Axios (which Dems complain about) or CNN (which Dems complain about)? It doesn't happen. Now think about the flip side-- when was the last time a Republican broke news on mainstream media? They go to Breitbart! Or Daily Wire! Or Washington Examiner! The right bolsters its media ecosystem at every turn, and they're seeing the benefits of it. The left bolsters mainstream media, only to then turn around and complain when they do the usual Both Sidesism. And then they wonder *only now* why there's such a massive asymmetry at play.
If Democratic offices aren't making digital at least 50% of their comms outreach, then not only are they failing to reach people where they are AND failing to reach actual persuadable voters, but they're not doing their part to build up progressive media, which - let's face it - we NEED if we're to survive this new media environment.
And btw, I'm not saying this for myself-- find ANY progressive outlet - big or small - and validate them. Talk to them. Set up interviews. Give them some news to break. I know firsthand how impossible it is to get certain politicians to come on my show, and that's with 3.4 million subs on YouTube. I cannot imagine how impossible it must be for medium/smaller creators.
I also do want to note that there are a LOT of Dems and their offices who get it and who do their part for progressive media. For example, @PeteButtigieg and his team are generous with their time AND I know for a fact that his presence on creators' shows has helped launch their careers. And by the way, those creators love him for it and will becomes tribunes for him and his message everyday moving forward. A huge ROI for a tiny investment of time. Why wouldn't every Democratic official want that!? It's a win-win.
Can everyone please drop some creators' names in the replies below? We need to recognize the media environment we're in and start taking steps to fix it.
