- It was the teammates, not the first responders, who carried Rene out of the water. They also recalled seeing responders only spectating from the shore, including one whom they said appeared to be only taking photos/videos.
Pano makakasave yan if it really turns bad. And it happened! May kasalanan talaga sino man nagset ng ganyang activity. Hindi ready. And hindi din nag-iisip na delikado sa dagat.
When the waves came in, the players were scattered. They all tried to save themselves, their brothers
Walang hazing. Walang initiation. May shortcomings talaga coaching staff or whoever organized the teambuilding. Isa lang lifeguard ng resort. 20 ata student-athletes dun + coaching staff pa. Isang salbabida ng resort, 2 ata from admu. 1 surfboard, volleyballs.
Just hearing the experiences of some of the players just breaks my heart. Praying for their healing. We also pray for the justice for Rene and Divine kasi meron talagang shortcomings dito. Even the boys who survived need justice too. Halos nalunod din sila and could have died too
"I was gonna accept na mawawala na po ako". - Kieffer
He also does not know how to swim.
He was able to help Sam pa (since namention ni Sam that Kief helped him) kahit hirap din siya, namumulikat daw siya. They were paddling together daw until they reached the shore.
Kahit yung marunong lumangoy, nahirapan talaga dun. Out of exhaustion na din trying to swim back to the shore. Nakakainom na ng tubig. Nagccramps. π’
He was trying to get back to the shore but no matter how hard he tried, parang walang changes daw sa kung saan siya. He experienced cramps pa daw. When he felt the sand, he remembered Kieffer helped him but there is a wave again. Kief was able to drag him out of the water.
Sam said he and Drew got out of the water. He recounts going back to the water, and was trying to help Ian. He mentioned Ian was clinging to him and Malcolm back and forth. He tried going back to the shore kasi "baka mamatay" na siya. He mentioned "di na ata ako makakalabas dito"
Lumabas yung new drone footage when they found and tried to give cpr to rene. π’ The other players are also there, helping in getting rene away from the water. Mas clear yung video. Kita mga faces nila. Tapos people are hating on these boys. Imagine the trauma. π’ Pls be kind.
Jared, Ian, and Drew recount what happened in Aurora. Jared mentioned, he was going back to the sea pa looking for Rene & Divine. Ian thought "eto na siguro" referring to his near-death experience. Di daw siya marunong lumangoy. He was saved by Coach Sandro.
if something bad happened like an accident, you can't expect a person to be bawling, to automatically help, or whatever action you expect them to be. Have you heard of a person who is in a state of shock. My gosh, mga walang empathy to kung makacomment or post.
@rain2047964 Isa din talaga siya sa napansin ko. He was the first one who helped the rescuers carry the body of rene. Nandun din siya for divine. It must be so hard for him. May they all heal from the trauma.
@RaMelteon_RPh@Kageyamatee Be compassionate. They are also victims. They are probably in shock, in trauma, having survivor's guilt. Nasa news naman po na kakausapin din sila for investigation. They don't need to be in a presscon. Dapat day 1 nga yung admu management ang humarap sa public.
