@DryburghTom @DouginCanberra I understand where you’re coming from but Geelong got pick 7 as compo for taking the debt. They then worked with their new employee to negotiate a new contract. It’s 2 separate processes and should be. I can see why it might be frustrating but it’s just good business.

This list just grows and grows. How can the @AFL continue to stand up and claim shock at each new revelation. What’s shocking is that there’s never any accountability. Not a single person ever has been made accountable! I’m just devastated for these young men.

I think this is the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever heard. I get that there are shit people in the world but I just don’t understand how the @AFL continue to allow these sorts of issues to come up time and again with zero consequences - Goodes, Lumumba, Betts, Winmar…

The @AFL models the behaviour that our younger generation learns is acceptable. how do they keep letting it slide?
