I’m developing #horror movie stills featuring #kitten, who’s name today is Demon. I just need help with film titles. Would also love to see other submissions to the genre 😼
@c_diazepine I do have some Disney nostalgia, but found my time at Disney World the most underwhelming part of any holiday I’ve had in a while. Fast passes help, but it only takes the time because there’s so much queueing. It all felt very plastic and $$$. So same confusion for me
TERRIFYING: This is how quickly a #bushfire can overrun you. Within three minutes, fire crews at Shoalhaven in NSW, go from setting up for property protection to fleeing for their lives due to a change of wind. Always have your bushfire survival plan ready. #9News
@melinda_zsori I don’t drink coffee or tea. In this respect, my palate did not progress past childhood. But I’ll always join in with a nice hot choccie.
I’ve been working 2 years now, including plenty of night shifts
@karenerrichetti@doc_aussie 1. Just starting my job as a critical care SRMO!!!
2. 1million... find a home for me and the puppy I would adopt
The 😎😎😎 @jaz_medicine
@Dr_F_Altammar 1) do the basics well and you will be viewed as a good doctor. Don’t feel the need to be flashy or know every obscure journal article on a topic
2) be kind to everyone you work with and it will be returned
3) learn from the ‘yes’ people in your life, not those who just criticise
@jaz_medicine@dr_ashwitt Saying all that, I’ve also seen it not work in patients with collections
As @jaz_medicine says, it’s about 100x more expensive than CRP and I don’t even know if all labs run it
@jaz_medicine@dr_ashwitt We use PCT quite a lot in our ICU to guide antibiotic duration. I used it on a resp patient not responding to antibiotics who we were postulating had COP. PCT came back negative and that helped in decision to switch treatment
@DrAhmedKazmi
To be perfect is to be flawless all of the time. Substitute “perfect” for “excellence”

How many times have you not made a medical appointment because you’re too busy working? If we expected the same behavior of patients, we would all be out of a job #adhc2019
@DrAhmedKazmi’s burnout traffic light. For those of you not in the room, if you relate to the red zone, try finding a trusted colleague or friend to talk and break living alone with these thoughts #MH4Docs#adhc2019
