This year marks the 125th anniversary of the Second Zionist Congress giving women the right to vote - 5 years before the suffragette movement was founded. So, what's the situation with women in Israeli politics today?

Horrific news๐
#Jerusalem's Hadassah Hospital announced that Lucy Dee, the mother of Maia & Rina Dee who were shot dead on Friday by a Palestinian terrorist, has passed away from injuries sustained in the terror attack.
May the memories of Maia, Rina & Lucy be for a blessing.
Three sets of siblings were brutally murdered by Palestinian terrorists in the past three months. It's unbearable to imagine the pain of their families and friends.
We must speak out and condemn this violence and hate in all forms. May their memories be for a blessing.
You know what never seems to get old?
Trying to figure out a Hebrew word just to realize it's an English word in Hebrew letters. Never gets old.

As tensions rise, we as a society need to safeguard ourselves from extreme polarization and a loss of respect and dignity at the people-to-people level.
@irenerabinowitz The lack of constitution has been, is now and will continue to be a real problem in this country. You'd think as we near 75 years we'd have a more solid foundation for governance, but alas...
Just like an Oreo needs both cookie and cream, our country needs checks AND balances! Not one, not the other - we should be working towards having both.
@zevyr The problem is that neither the current situation nor the proposed reform provides much in terms of balances, only checks on one side or the other. The answer, IMO, should be somewhere in the middle: checks AND balances. Herzog gets it.
Proud and super happy. #Covid_19 forced me to cancel my #Canada trip. Longest I've gone without seeing my city, my family and my friends. Thanks @AirCanada for giving me hope of a reunion soon!
I've been pretty quiet on here. Today, I feel a need to scream out for the injustices in our world. But the only way I can think to start is by being quiet. Listening. Learning. Letting those most affected be our teachers. #BlackLivesMatter#BlackOutTuesday
Canada is proud to have a feminist foreign policy, and our government is proud to fight for women at home and around the world to take positions of leadership. @WomenOfInfluence #HumanRightsDay
Following the devastating earthquake which struck #PapuaNewGuinea, the State of #Israel through MASHAV & the Embassy of @IsraelinOZ responded immediately by delivering 40 generators for communities suffering from damage to critical infrastructure
