BYU SHOULDN’T HAVE BEEN LEFT OUT OF THE PLAYOFF LAST YEAR.
BYU SHOULDN’T BE LEFT OUT OF THE CHRISTIAN CONVERSATION.
BYU SHOULDN’T BE DISRESPECTED FOR THEIR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS.
BYU SHOULDN’T BE LOOKED DOWN ON BY ANYONE.
BYU SHOULD BE THE #1 TEAM IN THE COUNTRY.
GOD’S PLAN!
HEARTWARMING: Las Vegas #Raiders Pro Bowl kicker Matt Gay made a young fan with Down syndrome’s day by stopping to speak with him and sign an autograph before the game.
The fan’s reaction was priceless.
Matt Gay gained a fan for life.

Until there are real repercussions for Universities for derogatory chants by fans towards BYU and its religion, this isn’t going to stop
For some reason, in a world with an overabundance of political correctness, derogatory religious chants about “Mormons” are still socially acceptable. It’s unreal!
A cut-and-paste apology and promise that it isn’t who we are and we’ll do better isn’t good enough. It’s disingenuous and quite frankly insulting.
ACTUALLY STOP DOING IT!
Look… I understand the Church’s direction toward more Christ-centered home learning.
We have to become spiritually self-sufficient.
BUT there’s always been a nagging part of me that wonders who gets left behind in this model.
Young men and young women with inactive parents leave church and activities and return to homes that aren’t Christ-centered.
For widows and single men, “home-centered” can sometimes mean Christ-centered and alone.
We know how Zion is supposed to function. But Zion rarely functions as perfectly as it should.
My dad told me the other day that he’s not sure he ever would have found his way into the Church if he’d been raised in the way things operate now. (Born into an inactive family that disliked the Church)
I was thinking about it in Sunday School today and made a commitment to myself to pay more attention to the young men and widows I serve and minister to and do what I can to make sure “home-centered” doesn’t mean they’re on their own.
Remembering the late, great Dolly, who brought joy, comfort and inspiration to so many - including the millions of children given free books through her Imagination Library. We will always ️ you.
Dolly was so widely loved by Americans — in large part, I believe — because we all sort of secretly felt that, deep down, she was ultimately one of ‘us’…whatever that meant to each of us.
And we were all right, somehow. All of us. She *was* one of Us.
"I said what I said. I think it's kinda common sense."
THIS. You don't need a groveling apology and promises to "educate yourself". It's as simple as saying exactly what Sophie did.
Her and Clark are the best things to happen to the WNBA, bar none.
Be careful what you wish for. I know you have heard that before, but it's a very biblical concept. If you substitute your humanity for a depraved lie, God will eventually gift you with what you seek. It's a promise. Read Romans.
