(Nothing too serious. And I'll probably be discharged tomorrow. But I'm now well enough to be cranky and just D.O.N.E. with the low-sodium cardiac menu.)

Well, good news and not so good.

Good:
Mom's condition is treatable with medication and they're discharging her today.

There's no discernable damage to her heart and the blood clots haven't traveled (like, say, to her brain).

She should be okay if she takes it a bit easy over the next few weeks, and she's not on C0um@din or anything that requires regular blood testing.

So basically, she's coming home. She'll be okay. But how the FUCK did she get this bad without us noticing.

Hey look, I'm back in less than a month! Of course, it's not for a GOOD reason.

Mom was just admitted to the hospital with a PE (blood clot in her lung). It's not horrible - should be back home Thursday or Friday - but good thoughts/vibes/etc are greatly appreciated.
