@whitsthat Weddings are always good fun! Moving to nan's so we can support her, renovating our own wee space in the shed so she can still have her independence
Just saw someone get annoyed at the cost of an ambulance and now I just think they're silly. Like we only pay $90 a year for cover, which if you work it out is $0.87 each a week. So it doesn't matter if you don't use it but if you do you've saved yourself at least $2K.
How about this time last year I was buzzing out my wee chebs about lockdown 2 ending and this year I'm buzzing about lockdown 5 (or is it 6?) ending as of 11:59pm tomorrow ๐ฅณ๐ฅณ
If you think the restrictions or getting vaccinated is hard, imagine being a patient or a HCW turning up to hospital and seeing this. This is what we are facing in parts of Melbourne at present. #COVID19Vic
Well that marks 4 hous waiting in the online queue and 100 unaswered calls to the hotline, still no COVID vaccine booked...this is absolutely ridiculous!
@whitsthat Yeah Lauren was the same, sore arm and tired! Awk, im sure I'll be fine just glad to get vaccinated. Should hopefully mean I can get home at some point, Beth's got a wee one due in November and I'd like to meet him 1๐ค๐ค
@whitsthat Haha they did originally, a few factors resulted in them opening up pfizer for us sooner and in such a big group. Dan Andrews has done the best he could with poor federal support. Don't get me wrong, it took forever but I did get an appointment for tomorrow ๐คฃ
@whitsthat It was wild, they finally opened up pfizer for 16 to 39 year olds from today so everyone was trying to book in! Lauren was able to get vaccinated sooner because of her job. Hope you and David are well!
An actual representation of how gutted I am about the lockdown being extended...I think the one week gap between lockdown 5 and 6 has made this one all the more difficult.
Of course I'd start getting ready to apply for citizenship and not have all my documents ready to apply before the price went from $295 to $490 ๐ญ๐๐ญ๐
