Based on Matt’s statements, I wonder if she was intended to be a chud with a redem arc, and then just…forgot to write the chud part

[Christopher Bartsch @Shiny_Lugia88]

This is literally what happened to Marcy Wu in Amphibia

Originally written to be a more duplicitous character who was an active participant in King Andrias’ true ambition

Yet Hailey Tju was so charming in her audition, they shifted her into more of an manipulated force

@SmileyFace_098 What happene?

@jamismejamiam @conchaoffline Can someone explain why that’s bad?

[HBPuffnstuff @BechtleHar36026]

@CWaybright5579 Unlikely given how how whole arc was about how she wasn’t the main character

I saw a post years ago positing that to dogs humans are like elves, immortal and unchanging. It reckoned that greatest honor a dog could achieve was to be there to ease a human’s passing, not just because it was an event so rare that generations of dogs lived and died never even seeing them age, but in recognition of the many ancestors that the human had cared for during their long life.
