We awoke this morning to this sobering editorial from the @nytimes. It pulled no punches and clarified the space between each candidate and the ballot box.

I thought as we end this day, we should do so with those same words. Deep down we know while all other concerns are important, and they are, the truth is "unless American voters stand up to him, Mr. Trump will have the power to do profound and lasting harm to our democracy."

We also know another truth, not standing up for our country and supporting the "only patriotic choice for president", @KamalaHarris, would be unpatriotic of us!

Trump rolled back several key women's rights during his presidency, such as reproductive rights, restricting access to contraception, and defunding Planned Parenthood. He allowed the Violence Against Women Act to expire. He blocked an Obama-era rule that required large companies to report employee pay data by gender, to address the gender pay gap.
Trump's efforts to repeal ACA threatened maternity care and other essential health benefits for women. He rolled back protections against sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace, limiting enforcement by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
His moves have disproportionately affected women's healthcare, income equality, and workplace safety, showing a pattern of not prioritizing women’s best interests. On top, his rhetoric has often been harmful to women, featuring sexist comments, insults, and objectification.

Harris, on the other hand, has been a strong advocate for women’s rights, supporting reproductive healthcare, gender equality, and protections against violence. Comparing their records shows that Harris has consistently supported women’s rights more than Trump.
