BGFG seeks to start from the grass root working with less privileged children in deprived communities to identify and offer services to prevent them from these diseases. We are calling and encouraging all kind- hearted Ghanaians to support and donate towards this project.

Becks Glaucoma Foundation Ghana in partnership with Zylofon TV is a non charity organization which provides free eye care services, surgery and health seminars to the less privileged and vulnerable people living with glaucoma and other eye related diseases.

The focus of this project is to see create awareness, screen and tour some basic schools in all the 16 regions of Ghana. The target audience for this project are children because it is believed that “Today’s readers are tomorrow’s Leaders”.

1. Ophthalmoscopy: viewing the appearance of the optic nerve which is done with a slit lamp biomiocroscopy
2. Tonometry: a test to measure the pressure within the eye
