Two stallions who had managed to escape the Twin Peaks roundup had returned to retrieve their family. Heartbreakingly, their family had already been carted off the range: they would never see each other again. These are the painful realities of roundups. 🚨 Freedom can't wait. 🚨

The true horror this halloween: Roundups may be paused during the government shutdown, but for over 61,000 wild horses trapped in holding pens, the crisis continues. That’s more horses in confinement than roaming free in the wild. This is NOT the freedom America’s icons deserve.
Protect Wild Horses and Burros in Nevada's Blue Wing Complex! The BLM has released a new proposal—and it continues mass removals, helicopter roundups, and stockpiling animals in holding facilities. Submit your comment to stop these devastating roundups: 🔗 https://t.co/wSbMXwsKdH
💔💔💔RIP FRANCES💔💔💔
I am Frances and this is my story......
I was weak and emaciated but I knew I had a little life growing inside of me, so I had to keep fighting.
I was caught in barbed wire and I could not move, I ate what I could for me and my baby and hoped that help would come soon🙏🙏
Help arrived...Kind and caring voices I could hear and I felt some hope.
They freed me and brought me to their sanctuary, a very kind vet tended to my wounds.
I was treated with kindness and respect and I felt safe.
I am an old mare and I could feel my body start to fail. The kind people at MLHR were minding me closely and I was moved to a hospital to receive urgent care.
Again I felt the gentle hand of people and I knew I had one last job to do, I had to have my baby, to give him a chance at a life worth living.
So I lay down for one last time and gave birth, a beautiful little boy came into this world. I had no energy to care for him but I knew he was in the best hands.
I dont want to leave my son but I have nothing left to give, I couldnt go on!
So I left my darling boy in the care of the most wonderful people and I hope and pray that he has the strenght to make it.
I am Frances and this was my story...
PLEASE, PLEASE donate towards Franky's care he needs you🙏🙏🙏https://t.co/khGRB1VaDR
Animals may not speak our language, but their presence touches our hearts in the most profound ways. As sentient beings and a true gift to humanity, they bring joy, comfort, and balance to our lives.
It is our responsibility to treat them with kindness, empathy, and care - to honor the quiet love and loyalty they offer unconditionally. Let us value and protect these beautiful souls, for they are not just part of our world - they are a vital part of its soul.

Clever deer!
Here's the whole story.
The story took place in Fort Collins, Colorado, at a small gift shop within the Horsetooth Inn and RV Park. Lori Jones, the shop owner, was working her usual shift when a young doe casually walked into the store. The doe seemed curious and even looked at items like sunglasses and chips, which made Lori laugh.
To gently guide the doe out, Lori offered her a peanut bar. About 30 minutes later, the doe returned with her entire family, including her fawns, who waited patiently outside the shop1. Lori managed to lure the deer family away again, but not before capturing some incredible close-up photos of the encounter.
