MacFarlane: What did you make of the president saying he loves inflation?
Welch: It’s pretty bizarre. He does not get what’s happening with everyday people. This is happening because of the war. He made a unilateral decision to go to war. He said yes to Netanyahu, and he said no to his own advisers.
He’s flailing, and there are no negotiations. It’s really about the president trying to get a face-saving outcome so he can make the assertion that we’re better off, but we’re nowhere.
Donald Trump wants to talk about anything besides his connections to Jeffrey Epstein. But Oversight Dems won't stop until we end the cover-up, release the full Epstein files, and get justice for survivors.
McGovern: Republicans are scared shitless of Trump. They won’t even say they are mildly concerned because they are afraid of retribution. He is the most corrupt president in history.
SYKES: Do you think your positions are in line with President Trump?
CHRIS WRIGHT: Yes, I hope so
SYKES: Do you love inflation?
WRIGHT: Uh. I love ending Iran's ability to have a nuclear weapon
SYKES: That was not my question. Do you love inflation, yes or no?
WRIGHT: No
SYKES: Do you know that your boss just stated that he 'loves inflation'?
WRIGHT: He's an entertaining, hyperbolic guy who has done tremendous leadership
SYKES: So it sounds like you're unaware that President Trump just said he 'loves inflation'
SYKES: Are you aware the US was taking millions of barrels of oil from Iran?
WRIGHT: We are preventing the flow of Iranian oil
SYKES: That is not what I asked you. Can I play some audio?
*plays audio of Trump admitting the US is stealing Iranian oil*
WRIGHT: I think the president is talking casually
SYKES: Do you think that it's appropriate to 'talk casually' about war?
WRIGHT: I think you talk to all different audiences and you talk in all different styles
SYKES: There are 13 service members who are dead
WRIGHT: He treats this war deadly serious
SYKES: You just said he was speaking casually
WRIGHT: He speaks 20 hours a day
In an opening statement provided to The Associated Press, Bill Gates said he "should never have met with Epstein in the first place," but that he "never witnessed nor had any indication that Epstein was engaged in ongoing criminal conduct." https://t.co/L3U7Ghd9Eq

The investigation into ActBlue by Republicans is a complete joke and a waste of taxpayer dollars. They can't win the midterms without cheating, so they're trying to dismantle our infrastructure to raise money from small-dollar donors. It won't work.
Plaintiffs in Virginia federal court case challenging Trump's $1.7 billion slush ask judge to permit some "discovery" and review... to determine if the slush fund truly has been scrapped by Trump Admin.
Attorney for plaintiffs: “We’ve seen this administration say one thing and do the complete opposite far too many times, and we’re asking the court to have them show us the truth about their assurances that the slush fund has actually been abandoned"
President Trump lies that Democrats rigged the elections in California…but also quickly “approved” Steve Hilton for the governor runoff because Trump publicly warned that they were going to cheat Hilton out of a spot and so there was “too much heat” on them to proceed with the devious plan.
