Just as I begin to stroll through #patient areas, it is my practice to set an #intention.
My intention once was to see how many #smiles I could get from the songs I played.
I lost count of how many #staff and patients smiled and even chuckled as I made my rounds that day. #harp

My fingers moved into an upbeat version of You Are My Sunshine. At once, both mother and son burst into song, smiling broadly as they looked lovingly into each other’s eyes.
Soon all three of us as well as two nurses were singing. Ah, the power of #music at the bedside!
