With the testing of 3 locations and 2 methods for controlled mating, the Macedonian 🇲🇰 team has successfully completed the field research for 2023. Next step: molecular analysis of samples of mated queens, worker bees, and wings of drone-producing queens. 🐝🔬 #EEANorwayGrants

🐝News from CALIS🇭🇷 Queens were well mated and collected for molecular analysis. After the queens had been collected, the mating boxes were to be emptied the following day. However, in the evening a huge storm came up and caused a big mess 😟
