One of my goals is to become more difficult to offend. The ability to overlook an offense is a superpower I don't use most days but I'm convinced it's a key part of real peace, not just conditional peace based on my current circumstances or the opinions people have of me.
My co-worker just told me his family is keeping a stray cat because it's been catching moles. They named it- are you ready- Ron. Ron! Really? Does anyone else think that's a terrible name for a cat?

Itβs ok to have a life outside science. Itβs ok not to work every evening or weekend. Itβs ok to wind down with friends/family. Itβs ok to relax/live it up on holidays. Itβs ok to be a fully functioning human being with interests completely unrelated to science.
